Our courses are taught by experienced instructors and follow Florida licensing requirements, preparing you with the knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in the field.
Class D Security License Training
40 Hours
Price: $120 per class
The Class D Security License is required to work as an unarmed security officer in Florida. This 40-hour training program covers all fundamental aspects of the role, including:
- Florida laws and legal responsibilities
- Patrol techniques and observation skills
- Incident reporting and ethics
- Emergency procedures
- Conflict resolution and customer service
This course is ideal for entry-level professionals looking to begin a career in private security. Upon completion, you’ll be eligible to apply for the Florida Class D Security Officer License.
Class G Security License Training
28 Hours
Price: $195 per class
The Class G Security License is mandatory for those who want to work as an armed security officer in Florida. This 28-hour course includes:
- Firearm safety and handling
- Florida firearm laws and use-of-force policies
- Live-fire range qualification
- Judgmental shooting scenarios
- Defensive shooting techniques
Applicants must already hold a valid Class D license or be enrolled in the Class D course concurrently. Completion of this course allows you to apply for your Florida Class G license and legally carry a firearm while on duty.
